(ANSA) - Rome, November 22 - Paris has no intention of
meddling after the European Commission rejected Italy's budget
plan for 2019, French Ambassador to Rome Christian Masset told
an ANSA Forum on Thursday. "We are following the situation in
Italy and the dialogue with the European Commission, but we do
not want to interfere in any way in an the well defined
procedure between the European Commission and Italy," Masset
said. "When the discussion takes place at the (European)
Council, we will assess this dialogue".
