(ANSA) - Rome, October 18 - President Sergio Mattarella on
Friday called on Italy's political class to show a sense of
responsibility.
The head of State told the Assolombarda business association
that Italy needs "constructive dialogue and a high sense of
responsibility by the political world, the institutions,
businesses, associations and civil society for conscious
decisions with a long-term vision of the collective interest."
He added that is was his duty to act as the "guardian of the
Constitution".
