Italy's public debt fell in August - BoI

(ANSA) - Rome, October 15 - Italy's public debt dropped to 2.3265 trillion euros in August, down 15.5 billion euros with respect to July, the Bank of Italy said on Monday.
    The central bank said tax revenues amounted to 43.7 billion euros in August, down 3.9% compared to the same month in 2017.
    It said tax revenues for the first eight months of 2018 were 280.2 billion euros, down 0.6% on the same period last year.
