Minniti says mulling PD leadership run

(ANSA) - Rome, October 12 - Former interior minister Marco Minniti said Friday he was thinking about running for the leadership of the centre-left opposition Democratic Party (PD) after 13 PD mayors urged him to do so.
    "I'm really thinking about it. We'll see in the next few days," he told ANSA.
    Lazio Governor Nicola Zingaretti has already thrown his hat into the ring.
