(ANSA) - Genoa, September 21 - Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said Friday that his new decree designed to bolter security will be presented at a cabinet meeting on Monday. He denied that the package had been delayed due to differences with members of the 5-Star Movement (M5S), the government alliance partners of his League party, or potential objections by President Sergio Mattarella.
"There is no controversy," Salvini told reporters in Genoa.
"There don't seem to be any obstacles, not from the president's office, nor from the M5S.
"It will be more difficult to obtain residence permits or stay in Italy for crafty migrants who are not running away from war or famine".
