(ANSA) - Paris, September 20 - French President Emmanuel
Macron shouldn't lecture others on migrants given France's
record of pushing back migrants at the French-Italian border,
Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said Thursday.
"Macron has said we are a government that makes people vomit,
that we are racists and egotists but he, and I don't say whether
he was right or not, has pushed back around 50,000 people at the
French-Italian border since January of last year, including
women and children," Salvini told told the BFM-TV channel.
The deputy premier, who is leader of the anti-migrant League
party, said: "Everyone should mind their own business without
giving lectures to others".
