(ANSA) - Rome, July 12 - US President Donald Trump said after
a NATO summit Thursday that "immigration is a sensitive issue.
Look at Italy: (Premier) Giuseppe (Conte) won the elections
because he had a strong policy on immigration".
Interior Minister Matteo Salvini campaigned on an
anti-migrant platform.
Trump was addressing a press conference after threatening to
quit NATO unless members stumped up more money for the alliance.
