(ANSA) - Rome, January 11 - French President Emmanuel Macron
on Thursday praised Italian Premier Paolo Gentiloni after talks
with his counterpart in Rome. "Italy is entering an election
period," Macron said, referring to the March 4 general election.
"I want to stress how happy I have been to work with Paolo
Gentiloni in recent months. His efforts in Italy and Europe have
made it possible to create a new dynamic".
