(ANSA) - Rome, May 8 - Newly re-elected Democratic Party (PD)
leader Matteo Renzi on Monday exchanged congratulations with
Emmanuel Macron for his election as French president and his own
re-election, PD sources said.
Renzi hailed Macron's "extraordinary election result" while
he and Macron exchanged expressions of friendship and best
wishes for their respective jobs.
