(ANSA) - Rome, April 28 - The cabinet on Friday approved a
decree proposed by Premier Paolo Gentiloni and Interior Minister
Marco Minniti to boost the security effort for the G7 summit in
Taormina, Sicily, on May 26 and 27.
The decree stipulates that this month the number of members
of the armed forces involved in activities to prevent and combat
crime and terrorism will increase from 7,050 to 9,950.
