Gentiloni reinforces army presence

(ANSA) - Rome, January 18 - Premier Paolo Gentiloni has asked Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti to further reinforce the presence of the army in the areas hit by last year's earthquakes after new quakes hit central Italy on Wednesday, sources said.
    The premier is in continual contact with the civil protection department and Vasco Errani, the government's earthquake reconstruction commissioner, the sources said.
