Sala to suspend self over Expo probe

(ANSA) - Milan, December 16 - Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala is set to suspend himself on Friday over reports that he is under investigation in relation to his former role as commissioner of Milan Expo 2015. Sala will suspend himself officially before the northern city's prefect after a meeting of his executive. Sala announced the move late on Thursday, saying he learned of the probe via press reports.
