(ANSA) - Milan, December 2 - A Milan court on Friday rejected
appeals by jurist Valerio Onida and by a team of lawyers against
a civil judge's November 10 decision not to send their arguments
against the wording of Sunday's Constitutional reform referendum
to the Constitutional Court. It was the latest in a string of
court rulings rejecting appeals against the wording of the
referendum. Italians are set to accept or reject an overhaul of
Italy's political machinery that aims to make lawmaking cheaper
and faster by turning the Senate into a leaner, regionally based
body with fewer powers.
