EC receives Italy response on budget

(ANSA) - Brussels, October 28 - The European Commission said Friday that it had received Italy's response to the letter it sent this week asking Rome for clarification about its 2017 budget plans. An EC spokesperson said the letters from Italy and four other countries had landed. "Analysis continues for these member States and for the others, as does dialogue with the capitals," the spokesperson said. "We will not make any further comment".
