Hope NATO talks resumption of Russia (2)

(ANSA) - Brussels, October 26 - Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti went into a NATO ministerial meeting Wednesday saying she hoped it would discuss the resumption of dialogue with Russia. She said "it makes no sense to to talk about deterrence if you don't talk about dialogue too". Pinotti said "we have to develop what was decided in Warsaw (recently)", that is look at threats in the round." She said she did not think "we should focus on Russia alone" but that the Russia issue would be tackled, giving reassurance to eastern European countries and addressing "what tensions may arise".
