(ANSA) - L'Aquila, September 30 - Former civil protection
chief Guido Bertolaso was acquitted Friday in a second trial for
manslaughter in the April 2009 L'Aquila earthquake that killed
more than 300 people. Bertolaso was accused of allegedly giving
unwarranted assurances before the quake in his capacity as
member of the Major Risks panel.
