(ANSA) - Rome, August 30 - Lazio Governor Nicola Zingaretti
issued a decree Tuesday exempting survivors of the August 24
earthquake in the villages of Amatrice and Accumoli from paying
fees for nurseries and nursing homes as well as supplementary
medical costs. The decree also set up two new social and health
structures together with the civil protection department. Some
231 people lost their lives in Amatrice in the quake, and 11 in
Accumoli. In all, 292 people were killed.
