Rome to offer quake aid

(ANSA) - Rome, August 24 - Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi said Wednesday the capital will extend aid to central Italian communities stricken by a 6.0 magnitude quake earlier in the day.
    "We stand with civil protection to aid citizens in central Italy affected by the seism," she tweeted. "Rome will offer resources and equipment".
