Up to UK to trigger Brexit procedure

(ANSA) - Brussels, June 28 - It is up to the British government to trigger procedures to leave the EU after Thursday's Brexit referendum, European Council President Donald Tusk said Tuesday. "It's the only legal way, everyone has to be aware of this and so we have to be patient", he said on his way into an EU summit. He said if it were up to the EU it would be ready "today", but without enthusiasm. Tusk added there would be an extraordinary EU summit in Bratislava in September to discuss the EU's future.
