(ANSA) - Rome, May 31 - Rightwing Rome mayoral candidate
Giorgia Meloni told Roman dog lovers Tuesday that she would give
100 euros a month to people who adopt "one of these
extraordinary animals" which currently cost the council 400
euros a month to keep.
"We'd like to launch a major campaign to adopt dogs seeking
families," said Meloni, the leader of Brothers of Italy (FdI)
who is backed by the Northern League.
