Italy's GDP rose 0.3% in first quarter

(ANSA) - Rome, May 31 - Italy's gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 0.3% in the first quarter of 2016 with respect to the previous three months and by 1% with respect to the same period last year, according to seasonally adjusted data released by Istat on Tuesday. The national statistics agency said the figures were the same as those in its preliminary estimates.
