(ANSA) - Rome, May 30 - Premier Matteo Renzi said Monday
that his centre-left Democratic Party (PD) was the only one of
Italy's mayor political forces not to eject dissenting voices.
"We are the only party in Italy that does not kick out
those who do not think in the same way, who dialogues and
debates, who thinks we are community, who look each other in the
eye and don't send anonymous emails," Renzi said at an election
event with Turin Mayor Piero Fassino.
Renzi has come under heavy fire from a rebel minority
within the PD over several of his government's reforms and his
assertive way of leading the party.
Beppe Grillo's anti-establishment 5-Star Movement has been
criticised by some for its tough stance on those who break its
internal regulations.
