Schaeuble says Italy on right road

(ANSA) - Berlin, May 26 - German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble on Thursday hailed the ambitious programme that Italian Premier Matteo Renzi has embarked on. "We know Italy's situation and we can see mayor efforts on structural reforms, on the insolvency regulations and much besides," Schaeuble said at a meeting for the foreign press in Berlin. "We have the impression that it's on the right road and we support this".
