(ANSA) - Ise-Shima, May 26 - Premier Matteo Renzi on
Thursday said he was proud after the Italian Navy saved 562
people in the southern Mediterranean on Wednesday when a
migrant-boat capsized and sank. "Arrived at Ise-Shima, I take to
the table of the G7 leaders the pride and dignity of the
Italians who save lives at sea," Renzi, who is in Japan for the
G7 summit, tweeted and posted photos of the rescue operations.
The bodies of five people were recovered and it is feared other
victims may have gone down with the boat.
