Taormina may host G7 next year

(ANSA) - Taormina, May 25 - Taormina may be selected to host next year's G7 meeting which Premier Matteo Renzi has said will take place in Sicily, Mayor Eligio Giardina said Wednesday.
    Giardina said he had spoken about it with Renzi in Catania recently.
    "If Taormina is chosen it will be a challenge that would make anyone nervous, but we are ready as regards hotel facilities, history, tradition and security," he said.
