(ANSA) - Milan, May 24 - An attack on a kippah-wearing
15-year-old by fellow teenagers in Milan Monday "shows that the
ghosts of intolerance are alive and kicking in our city," Milan
centre-left mayoral candidate Beppe Sala said Tuesday.
"The fact that 15-year-olds were involved highllights the
responsibility of politics towards the new generations," said
Sala, the candidate of Premier Matteo Renzi's Democratic Party
(PD).
"It is intolerable that, still, today, there are candidates
that make anti-semitism part of their brand".
