Always a risk in investing life savings

(ANSA) - Lecce, April 29 - Consumers who invest their life savings must be aware of the risks, Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio Visco said Friday. "Savings must be protected, but savings that become investments can't be protected to the hilt," he said. "There will always be financial crises and bank failures - that's capitalism," Visco said. "The real challenge is how to make the financial crisis less burdensome".
