Storace mulling pulling out for Marchini (2)

(ANSA) - Rome, April 28 - Rightist Rome mayoral candidate Francesco Storace said Thursday that he, too, was mulling pulling out of the June 5 race in favour of 'civic' candidate Alfio Marchini, newly backed by Silvio Berlusconi's centre-right Forza Italia (FI) party. FI switched its backing to Marchini from ex-civil protection chief Guido Bertolaso, who was lagging in polls. Storace is the candidate for La Destra (The Right), a small rightist party.
