(ANSA) - Naples, April 18 - A civil judge of the Salerno
court currently working in Potenza has been placed under
investigation on suspicion of corruption, judicial sources aid
Monday.
Possible charges against the judge, whose home and office
were searched, are conspiracy to commit corruption in judicial
acts, abuse of office and illegal access to computer systems,
they said.
As well as the judge, lawyers, court clerks and businessmen
have also been placed under investigation.
The magistrate is suspected of taking bribes in exchange
for favourable rulings.
