New tender code 'closes path to graft'

(ANSA) - Rome, April 15 - The government's new public-tender code "closes off the path to corruption," Premier Matteo Renzi told a press conference Friday. "This government is working with determination and dedication...the fight against corruption isa priority, we are absolutely in the front line," he said. "There are those who hold conferences, shows and stage polemics, and those who try to work seriously," he said.
