Historic Rome PD chapter office eviction

(ANSA) - Rome, April - The Lazio Regional administrative court (TAR) on Thursday upheld a Rome city council eviction order for one of the city's most important and historic chapter offices of the Democratic Party (PD), in Via dei Giubbonari near Campo de' Fiori. The court rejected a PD suit to suspend the order. The order was issued because of large arrears in rent and a formal absence of permission to rent the site by the PD, which is led by Premier Matteo Renzi.
