Guidi does not share financial interests

(ANSA) - Rome, April 5 - Former industry minister Federica Guidi does not have shared financial interests with oil-industry boyfriend Gianluca Gemelli, the two do not have a joint bank account and she has always paid for the upbringing of their son on her own, a person who has spoken with the former minister told ANSA Tuesday. She has never cohabited and at the moment sees him every one or two weeks, the person said. Guidi resigned in a conflict of interest row Thursday after being caught telling Gemelli about a government amendment that would benefit his business in a southern Italian oil project.
