(ANSA) - Rome, March 23 - Democratic Party (PD) lawmakers on
the Lower House justice committee on Wednesday filed an
amendment to a cyber-bullying bill that would make the practice
into a felony offence punishable with up to five years in prison
if the offender is of age.
If the offender is a minor, his or her smartphone would get
seized. A Senate version of the bill focuses on prevention while
the House justice committee is seeking to add penal aspects.
