(ANSA) - Florence, March 1 - The coroner who carried out an
Italian autopsy on the body of slain Cairo student Giulio Regeni
on Tuesday declined to comment on a Reuters report that the
Egyptian coroner had said the Cambridge doctoral researcher was
repeatedly tortured for about a week. "We still have tests to
carry out," said Antonio Fineschi. The coroner is set to meet
next week with Italian prosecutors. "That will be the chance to
evaluate the situation", Fineschi said.
