(ANSA) - Rome, February 25 - Senators from the
anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) on Thursday boycotted a
confidence vote in the Upper House on a maxi-amendment to a bill
regulating civil unions, including same-sex ones. The bill is
expected to be passed after a deal with Catholics that removed
stepchild adoptions and a fidelity obligation clause.
