(ANSA) - Rome, December 10 - Italy is on the front line in the battle against terrorism and extremist Islamist group ISIS, President Sergio Mattarella said in an interview published in Thursday's edition of Rome-based daily Il Messaggero. He added that ISIS can be defeated if the battle is conducted on various levels, including the cultural and political ones, and via greater cooperation between the intelligence services of the coalition fighting it.
