(ANSA) - Florence, November 27 - Defence Minister Roberta
Pinotti said Friday there had "never" been any talk with France
about "extending our (Iraq air) mission to Syria". She recalled
that this mission currently consisted of reconnaissance with
four Tornadoes in Iraq. Rome has ruled out following Germany in
providing reconnaissance aircraft for France's anti-ISIS
airstrikes in Syria.
