(ANSA) - Rome, October 8 - The Piazza del Campidoglio on
Thursday became a sort of stadium pro and anti embattled Mayor
Ignazio Marino, with one faction shouting "Hang in there" and
their rivals screaming for him to quit amid an expenses scandal,
and police keeping the sides apart.
The ruling Democratic Party is pressing Marino to stand
down.
