Rooting for Renzi tax cuts says Squinzi

(ANSA) - Milan, August 28 - Giorgio Squinzi, head of employers' group Confindustria, said about Premier Matteo Renzi's promised tax 'revolution' Friday: "We root with all our might for someone who says he's cutting taxes. "The important thing now is to find ways to finance this reduction," he added.
    Renzi said Tuesday that the municipal service tax TASI and the IMU property tax will be abolished "for everyone" next year, followed by cutting the IRES business tax in 2017 and reducing IRPEF personal income tax in 2018.
    The government is also mulling tax breaks to help the struggling south of Italy, Economy Minister Pier Carlo Padoan said.
    Padoan said the tax cuts would be funded by spending cuts.
