Former Constitutional Court judge Giovanni Conso dead

(ANSA) - Rome, Aug. 3 - Former Constitutional Court president Giovanni Conso has died at the age of 93, officials said Monday. Conso, who was born in Turin in 1922, died Sunday night. He had served on the Constitutional Court from January 1982 until February 1991. He was elected president of the court in October 1990. Following that, Conso served as Italy's justice minister from February 1993 until May 1994.
