(ANSA) - Rome, July 16 - Ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi on
Thursday told officials in his Forza Italia (FI) political party
that the latest insult against him was axing of his
parliamentary pension which he said he gave to charity. "After
all that I have done in my years in government, to cut the
annuity was an outrage". Last week, the Senate revoked
Berlusconi's parliamentary pension because of his tax-fraud
conviction. The pensions of 17 other ex lawmakers were also
revoked.
