(ANSA) - Dresden, May 29 - Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio
Visco said Friday that Italy now needs "wider reforms that will
change the structure of the economy" and will take more time to
implement. Speaking at the G7 meetings, Visco said that since
2011, Italy has implemented many reforms but now it is time to
expand these further. Commenting on new statistics showing
first-quarter growth that has ended the Italian recession, Visco
it appears to be "an exit from the crisis that must be
consolidated as soon as possible".
