(ANSA) - Rome, April 28 - The first of three confidence
votes in the Lower House on the government's controversial
election reform bill, known as Italicum, is scheduled for
Wednesday with the other two to be held on Thursday, sources
said after a meeting of House leaders late Tuesday. The final
vote is expected next week on the bill that led to loud protests
from opposition MPs and some dissidents in Premier Matteo
Renzi's Democratic Party (PD).
