(ANSA) - Brussels, April 28 - European Commission First-Vice President Frans Timmermans told MEPs on Tuesday that EU members must work more closely together on anti-terrorism and other security concerns.
"Even today, there is some lack of confidence and reticence in cooperation on the security front," Timmermans said, presenting a new security agenda for 2014-2020 to the European Parliament.
"We need to improve the way we work together...no country can face the challenges of terrorism, organized crime and cyber-crime alone".
