(ANSA) - Rome, April 1 - The Senate on Wednesday voted to
once again make false accounting a criminal office with the
approval on an article of an anti-corruption bill. Under a past
Silvio Berlusconi government, the crime had been downgraded to a
non-felony offence with significantly lighter penalties. The
long-awaited anti-corruption bill is expected to win definitive
approval in the Upper House later on Wednesday.
