(ANSA) - Messina, March 31 - A Sicilian mayor was arrested
Tuesday for allegedly embezzling almost 40,000 euros from the
estate of a pair of dead sisters.
Massimo Lo Schiavo, elected on a Sicilian autonomy ticket
allied with ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi, was taken into custody
in a town near Messina.
