Grasso denounces 'criminal capitalism'

(ANSA) - Rome, March 31 - Senate Speaker Pietro Grasso on Tuesday denounced "criminal capitalism" involving business people, politicians, and mafia figures who together "plot in the shadows, through opaque networks of relationships". Their sole motive is money with no thought for the common good, added Grasso, a former anti-Mafia prosecutor. The government has been moving a long-awaited anti-corruption bill through Parliament.
