'Wiretap law by 2015' says Renzi

(ANSA) - Rome, March 27 - Premier Matteo Renzi said Friday a wiretap law will be approved "by 2015". Justice Minister Andrea Orlando said an enabling law on wiretaps is contained in a criminal justice reform bill. "We must do everything we can to move that bill forward quickly," the minister said. "The wiretap measure is definitely not going to be a part of the defamation bill," he added.
    As well, Renzi said cabinet approved the government's proposed reorganization of the justice ministry, which he called "an act of fundamental importance".
    The reorganization will save 64 million euros, Orlando said.
