Guidi 'Made in Italy' plan for exports

Ministers says program could increase number of exporters

(ANSA) - Rome, February 26 - Industry Minister Federica Guidi said Thursday that the 'Made in Italy' promotion will attract investments as well as boost exports. She spoke as she signed an implementation decree for the plan that is estimated will increase exports by 50 billion euros over three years. Supporting measures are valued at 260 million euros. The priority of the plan is to increase the volume of Italian exports of goods and services. More than 200,000 Italian firms are exporters and could be increased by 20,000, said Guidi.
