(ANSA) - Rome, January 30 - The latest weekly survey showed the ruling Democratic Party (PD) of Premier Matteo Renzi down slightly at 36.8% against 36.9% on January 23, Ixé pollsters said Friday.
The anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) added 0.2% at 19.2% of the electorate while the anti-euro, anti-immigrant Northern League garnered 13.6% (up 0.1%) and Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia (FI) stood at 13.3% (down 0.1%).
If a general election were held today, there would be a 57.2% turnout (up 0.3% since last week).
Approval ratings for the premier himself continued their downward trend, shedding another point to reach 35% since last week. The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%, Ixé said.
